WHO IS JESUS CHRIST TO THE BELIEVER?

 

1.  Jesus Christ is your GOD.  (1 Peter 1:1)

2.  Jesus Christ is your SAVIOUR who you have trusted.  (1 Pt. 1:1)

3.  Jesus Christ is your LORD who you should yield to.  (1 Peter 1:2)

4.  Jesus Christ is your LIFE who you need to rely on daily.  (Colossians 3:4)

5.  Jesus Christ is your HOPE who will come again.  (Titus 2:13)

6.  Jesus Christ is your WISDOM.  (1 Corinthians 1:30)

7.  Jesus Christ is your RIGHTEOUSNESS.  (1 Corinthians 1:30)

8.  Jesus Christ is your SANCTIFICATION.  (1 Corinthians 1:30)

9.  Jesus Christ is your REDEMPTION.  (1 Corinthians 1:30)

10.   Jesus Christ is your HEAD as a member of the Church.  (Colossians 1:18)

11.   Jesus Christ is your GREAT HIGH PRIEST who intercedes for you.  (Hebrews 4:16)

12.   Jesus Christ is your DEFENSE ATTORNEY who defends you against Satan’s accusations.  (1 John 2:1-2) 

This is only a partial listing.  No wonder 1 Corinthians 1:31 states, “He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord,” and Colossians 1:18 ends with, “that in all things He might have the preeminence.”
